On May 17, in the Bolgar Museum-Reserve in the framework of the All-Russian action “Night of Museums” was held a solemn event “The eyes of young soldiers look at us from the photographs…” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and Heroes of the Fatherland.
In 2025, we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. In this regard, the year 2025 was declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in honor of our heroes and participants of the special military operation, and in memory of the exploits of all our ancestors who fought in different historical periods for the Motherland in the glory of our fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers who crushed Nazism.
13311 people from our Spassky district went to the front. 6245 people returned from the war. 4027 people died, forever remaining soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. There were 3039 people missing in action.
During the war years, more than 225 natives of the republic received the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Among them are five of our compatriots. Thanks to their feat, we have an opportunity to live and create, to move forward confidently and further glorify our native land.
The candle of memory was lit, and songs about the war sounded. On the big screen was shown a video with photos of our fellow countrymen – veterans of the Great Patriotic War who went to the front from the Spassky district of TASSR. The event ended with a minute of silence – the gathered honored the memory of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War and participants of the special military operation.
35 people attended the event.
