On May 15, for 11 students of the 5th grade of Bolgar sanatorium boarding school an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M.N. held a lecture “Modern terrorism and its manifestations”.
At the lecture, schoolchildren became acquainted with the basic concepts related to terrorism and actions at its threat. With the help of the presentation, children learned about legal protection and fight against terrorism, its main types and rules of behavior of hostages during the capture and during the operation for their release. They talked about what is necessary or forbidden to do when receiving a threat, when detecting explosive devices or suspicious objects. The children, actively participating in the conversation, answered questions, told about the necessary measures to prevent terrorism, and whether such measures are implemented in their school. At the end of the conversation, all together once again talked about what to do and how to behave during evacuation from buildings, how to provide first aid to the injured.
Such conversations with schoolchildren are very relevant now, in our turbulent times, and persuade children to be vigilant, to take the necessary precautions and safety measures.
