On May 15, International Family Day is celebrated. In the Nikolskaya rural library, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Osintseva O.P. held an event “Family Tree” dedicated to this holiday.
During the meeting, the children learned about the stages of work on genealogical research of their family history, the sites where they can find information about the participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 (“Memory of the People”, “Immortal Regiment”, “Memorial of the Great Patriotic War”). The schoolchildren saw the books and sites where they can make their own family tree. A lot of information can be taken in family archives and from the memories of our grandparents. The children were shown family photos, documents and front letters preserved since 1941.
23 people attended the event.
