On May 14, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the State of Qatar Ghanem Al Ghanim visited the Bolgar Museum-Reserve. He toured the expositions of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization and the Museum of the Quran, also visited the archaeological complex of the ancient settlement. Within the framework of the trip, the guest visited the Bolgar Islamic Academy and performed namaz in the White Mosque.
Ghanem Al Ghanim thanked for the warm welcome and hospitality. “It is necessary to further strengthen our friendly relations. Today we are actively cooperating in the field of Muslim education. We are also striving to develop tourism. I visited the ancient city of Bolgar, it is a unique place,” the minister said.
Ghanem Al Ghanim arrived in Tatarstan to participate in the events of the XVI International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2025”.
The International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2025” will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from May 13 to 18. Its participants will discuss a wide range of topics – partnership finance, digital economy, real estate, halal standards.
