On the eve of the anniversary of the Great Victory, on May 7 in Bolgar kindergarten “Kolosok”, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Osintseva O.P. held an event “Faithful battle friend and comrade” in the framework of the action “Memory Line”. During the event, the children learned what animals contributed to the Victory, looked at pictures and photos of the war years, and listened to war stories. Horses, for example, became indispensable helpers not only in the rear, but also on the battlefields: transportation of guns, carts with shells, field mail, food carts and field kitchen.
At the end of the meeting, a conversation “When the field mail comes” was held. The children became acquainted with the front letters – soldiers’ triangles from the family archive, which have been kept with special trepidation for more than 80 years. At the end of the event, kids made their own triangle letters.
