On March 27, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Bitunova Y.A. for the students of Bolgar cadet boarding school held an event “History in stone”.
The Bolgar Historical-Architectural Museum-Reserve is the northernmost monument of medieval Muslim architecture of the middle of XIII-XIV centuries. All archaeological and written sources testify to the fact that the Bulgar cities were excellent examples of quality architectural creativity. The schoolchildren watched the presentation by means of which they got acquainted with the remained monuments of architecture of XIII-XIV centuries. During the lesson, the children listened with interest to the legends about the ancient city of Bolgar, collected puzzles with the image of architectural objects, and took an active part in the quiz.
The event was attended by 17 schoolchildren.
