On March 19, the head of the exhibition complex “Memorial Sign” of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Salimova G.I. held a museum lesson “Architecture of Volga Bulgaria” for the students of Bolgar cadet boarding school.
During the event in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, the children got acquainted with the history of Volga Bulgaria and the Golden Horde, with a rich archeological collection of unique jewelry and jewelers’ tools discovered during the study of the Bolgar settlement, learned about their purpose and application. After acquaintance with the museum, the schoolchildren took part in a quiz, collected mosaics with the image of architectural monuments. At the end of the event, the children received magazines for creativity “Entertaining Guide to Bolgar and Sviyazhsk”.
