On February 12, 2025, for 11 students of the 4th grade of Bolgar secondary school №1 an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sabirzyanova L. I. read a lecture on “Winter fun in Russia”.
Pupils learned about the games our ancestors played and about their importance. For the peoples in Russia games were favorite at all times. They had truly mass character and were very diverse. Games were not only entertainment, they contributed to live communication between people and remained the main means of physical education, developing strength, agility, speed, marksmanship and other qualities.
The children talked about the importance and necessity of sports for maintaining physical health, about modern sports. A thematic quiz at the end of the lesson helped to consolidate the knowledge gained.
