On February 7, 2025, a lecturer-guide of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Usmanova D.O. gave a lecture “Terrorism is a threat to society!” for five pupils of Bolgar secondary school № 2.
The concepts of “terrorism” and “terrorist” appeared in France at the end of the 18th century. Terrorism is publicly committed generally dangerous, violent actions or threat of such, aimed at eliminating the population or social groups in order to directly or indirectly influence the adoption of any political decision or refusal of it.
The children learned about what terrorism is, who terrorists are. During the lecture, the conversation was about the fact that terrorism has become a global problem of humankind, that its manifestations entail massive human casualties and cause severe physical and psychological trauma. The result of the informational hour was the understanding that people should learn to accept each other as they are – regardless of nationalities, religion, beliefs and customs. At the end of the event, the children drew posters.
