On January 22, 2025, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Salimova G.I. held for 16 students of the 5th grades of Bolgar cadet boarding school an event “Respect for every religion” timed to coincide with the World Day of Religion.
Religion plays a huge role in all social spheres. It is an amazing spiritual community that arises among people with different cultural heritage, different views and traditions. Sometimes people living in the same state and having the same culture and history can be completely different and live differently just because they profess different religious views.
Religion even influences the politics, formation and governance of individual states. However, it has nothing to do with true religiosity, as all world religions are peaceful and profess love and respect for their neighbors.
At the event, the children became acquainted with the exposition of the Museum of Koran and visited the Museum of History of the Assumption Church. They listened enthusiastically and asked questions about religion.
