On January 17, 2025, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Krivosheyeva S.V. for students of the 3rd grade of Bolgar boarding school held an interactive informative-cognitive event “Mystery of Christmas”. Eighteen people attended the event.
The purpose of this activity was to form respect for other cultures, readiness to understand and accept the system of their values, education of aesthetic attitude to the surrounding activity and culture.
At the beginning of the event, children performed small tasks and played cognitive games. The children became acquainted with folk customs, rituals, beliefs and omens of our ancestors. The merry Christmas Eve – from Christmas to the Epiphany holiday – was noisy with games, dances and songs. The pupils expanded and consolidated their knowledge of traditional calendar holidays, corrected their memory and attention with the help of exercises.
