On the threshold of the most favorite holiday in our country on December 20, 2024, at the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization was held the opening of the exhibition “New Year’s kaleidoscope”. The exhibits were things from the times of the USSR, which for a long time were used to decorate houses and apartments. In the exposition one can find garlands, flags, Soviet postcards, Christmas trees and, of course, a huge number of Christmas toys.
At the opening of the exhibition were invited pensioners – wards of the Spassky boarding home for the elderly and disabled who listened with pleasure to the history of the holiday, carefully looked at each exhibit and remembered that once they had similar decorations. At the end of the event, the guests were offered to make a Christmas tree toy with their own hands.
Dear guests of our museum, the exhibition “New Year’s kaleidoscope” will continue to work until January 11, 2025. From January 2 to 5 in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, you can not only see the exhibits of the exhibition, but also take part in master classes on making Christmas toys.
