On 12 September 2024, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Musina G. M. held an event on ‘A great friend of little children’ for 17 pupils and 5 teachers of kindergarten ‘Rodnichok’, dedicated to the 116th anniversary of the birth of the famous Tatar writer, poet Abdulla Alish.
The children learnt about the biography and creative work of the writer. He wrote poems, essays, stories, plays, but he is best known for his fairy tales, which are firmly included in the treasury of Tatar literature. The fairy tales ‘The Talkative Duck’, ‘The Bee and the Wasp’, ‘The Braggart Sparrow’, ‘Tails’ help to bring up diligence and kindness in children, teach them to love their country, to be brave and fair, to respect their elders. During the event, children knew Alish not only as the author of favorite fairy tales, but also as a patriot-fighter executed by fascists.
