On September 12, 2024, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N.R. in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization for 4 visitors from Kazan gave a lecture with the techniques of a master class ‘My name in Arabic script’.
During the event, the guests heard a brief history of Volga Bulgaria, learnt about what contributed to the development of sciences on the ancient Bolgar land. They also learnt about the peculiarities of the Arabic alphabet and calligraphy, which has always amazed with its beauty and elegance, about the secrets of beautiful oriental writing. It is not for nothing that in the East the ability to write beautifully was used to judge the degree of spiritual and intellectual development of a person. All the guests had an opportunity to try to write their name in Arabic letters using ancient writing instruments such as goose and iron pen, reed and bamboo kalam. The event was of great interest to all.
