On 22 August 2024, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve V.N. Glavnova for 15 tourists from Samara held an information and educational event on ‘Our tricolor is our pride’, timed to coincide with the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.
On 22 August, Russia celebrates the Day of the State Flag. The role of the flag of Russia is extremely important for the life of the modern state and its future socio-political development, positioning of the country in the world. It fulfils a major task and is a symbol of patriotism. The symbol of the country is an important element of its state and national sovereignty, a distinctive sign of the state. To the Flag of Russia, the official attribute of the state, there is the most serious attitude, respect, reverence.
The guests learnt about the history of the flag of Russia, expanded their horizons in the field of state symbols. To consolidate the material the visitors took part in the proposed tasks and in a quiz, from which they learnt the importance and meaning of the symbols of Russia. The event ended with photos as a souvenir.
