On 16 August 2024, in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization started the exhibition of painting ‘Legends of Bolgar’. The exhibition presents paintings by I. I. Siraziev – member of the Union of Artists of Russia, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan and A. F. Sirazieva-Ishberdina – member of the Union of Artists of Russia, winner of the prize named after Sh. Babich.
The works are devoted to the legends of Ancient Bolgar and were painted within the framework of the Academic All-Russian plain-air dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria.
The State Counsellor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Republican Foundation for the Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments of RT, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mintimer Shaimiev, the Minister of Culture of RT Irada Ayupova, Imam of the Kul Sharif Mosque Ilfar hazrat Hasanov and Bishop of Chistopol Pahomiy visited the exhibition.
35 people attended the opening of the exhibition.
