On 29 July 2024, within the framework of the action ‘Cultural Saturday. Tales of the Peoples of Russia’ and within the framework of the project “The feat of A. Alish in the hearts of generations” the employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. held an event on “Tales of A. Alish”. The event was held for children from the children’s holiday camp ‘Bolgar’.
The guests visited the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization where they became acquainted with the history of Volga Bulgaria; in the Museum of Koran, they saw the world’s largest printed Koran. Walking along the Khan’s path, they learnt the names of rulers and thinkers of Volga Bulgaria and the Kazan Khanate.
Children also got acquainted with biography and creativity of our fellow countryman A. Alish, listened to the fairy tale ‘The Bee and the Wasp’, looked at handicrafts and drawings of children who participated in the contest in 2023 and won prizes.
