On 6 June 2024, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Muhametshin I.D. for children attending the school camp held an informative event on ‘How eternal is Pushkin’s word’ dedicated to the Day of the Russian language.
A.S. Pushkin is not only an outstanding poet, but also a critic, prose writer, publicist. He paid great attention to the history of our country and its famous figures.
Visiting Museum Street, children became acquainted with the poet’s work and his era. ‘Museum of the nobility of Spassky uyezd’ familiarizes us with the life of the nobility of Kazan province. From its environment came out many outstanding people. A. S. Pushkin was proud of his descent from A. P. Hannibal – an associate of Peter I. In his poems, he described the atmosphere of the golden age of the nobility.
The museum ‘Town on the River’ is inextricably linked with the Volga expanses and legends. Here one immediately recalls ‘The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish’. In the museum of A. Alish, schoolchildren got acquainted with the works of Alish who, like A.S. Pushkin, wrote fairy tales for children.
The excursion ended with drinking tea in the museum ‘Bolgar Tea Party’ where the children learnt about the traditions of hospitality and received books as a gift. During the class, the pupils learnt many interesting facts about the life of the poet and the history of our region.
Fifteen people attended the event.
