On May 18, 2024, in the Bolgar Museum-Reserve within the framework of the celebration of the International Museum Day, in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization a theatrical event “Revived History” took place for visitors with the participation of famous historical characters: Peter I, Catherine II and Ibn Fadlan. The visitors of the museum heard many interesting historical facts – the Decree of Peter I about the protection of Bolgar monuments, about the letter of Catherine II to Count Panin, about the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgars in 922. The heroes seemed to come to life in the exposition of the museum space, creating an atmosphere of mystery and magic. The participants of the event were able not only to listen to their stories, but also to communicate, ask questions and, of course, take photos for memory.
