On 15 May 2024, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Hramova G.K. held an interactive event on “Family samovar” for 19 students of Bolgar secondary school No.1.
International Family Day is a celebration dedicated to families. The aim of the holiday is to draw public attention to the problems of families and to strengthen family values. Various discussions, conferences and festivals devoted to family issues are organized for the holiday. In all Russian cities, a festive program is prepared for the holiday: concerts, entertainment events, games for parents and children, flash mobs. There are meetings of married couples to exchange experience, training sessions for young families, charity events for large and low-income families and guardians with children.
In the interactive part of the event, students gave their definition of family and shared family traditions. The children played bingo and painted gingerbread with protein icing.
