On 7 May 2024, for 10 children of Bolgar Children’s School of Arts an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N. R. held a lecture on “St. George’s Ribbon” timed to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
During the event, children became acquainted with the history of the St George’s (Guards) Ribbon and learned how it became a symbol of Victory. The story was accompanied by a colorful presentation, which facilitated the process of perception of the material by the children.
At the end of the event, the pupils decorated the St George’s ribbon with delicate flowers of forget-me-nots, which they made themselves from blue tameran and yellow beads, as a symbol of memory and loyalty to the feat of our soldiers.
