On 29 April 2024, in the Bolgar Museum-Reserve took place the opening of the tourist season “Great Bolgar invites”. For all visitors of the museum-reserve on this day on the main stage there was a concert of creative groups and performers. Artisans held various master classes for children and adults: pottery, vine weaving, painting souvenirs, beading and jewelry making. The potter’s wheel, like a huge magnet, attracted the attention of the guests who gladly joined the master and took part in the magical action. Other participants were eager and happy to weave baskets from vines, paint souvenirs, watch the work of the master-jeweler, and a large selection of souvenirs was presented to the guests. Everyone was able to buy a “Bolgar souvenir” as a memento of an unforgettable journey.
A children’s playground with medieval and national games was presented for young visitors. The tasting of “Khan’s ukha” gave a special flavor to the holiday. At the gastronomic platform, guests bought local products and sweets. Everyone could taste pancakes from the oven with fragrant Bolgar tea.
We hope that the tourist season 2024 will be successful, our visitors and tourists will learn many interesting, unusual things and get a lot of positive emotions.
