The Company’s grants in the contest of social initiatives were awarded to 114 projects from 18 districts of the Republic of Tatarstan and 5 regions of the Russian Federation. TATNEFT will allocate 140 million rubles for the implementation of the projects.
Through the “Energy of Goodness”, the Company supports the development of the non-commercial sector and people with an active civil position. Over 9 years of its existence, the grant competition has proved to be one of the most effective and relevant tools for selecting socially significant projects. The contest has supported 942 projects totaling 834 million rubles.
Most of the winners were selected in the categories “Family, Motherhood, Fatherhood and Childhood” (16 projects), “Preservation of Historical Heritage” (16 projects), “Culture and Art” (16 projects) and “Science, Education and Enlightenment” (15 projects).
The top three leaders by districts were Kazan (44 projects), Almetyevsk (14 projects), Nizhnekamsk (7 projects) and Naberezhnye Chelny (7 projects).
Among the grant recipients are the street culture festival URAM, which unites representatives of extreme sports and modern street art; the project “The Sea Around the Corner” – for emerging artists, urbanists and architects; the forum “Nauruz” aimed at the development of national theatres, the project “Inclusive Space”, the educational project “Network of STEAM-classes “Engineering” and many others.
The winners of the competition included:
Sagirova Lucia Shamilievna – a methodologist of the Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve in the nomination “Preservation of Historical Heritage” with the project “The feat of A. Alish in the hearts of generations”.
