On 23 April 2024, an employee of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N. R. for 16 pupils of the 2nd grade of Bolgar sanatorium boarding school held an event on “Cherished Triangles” timed to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
During the event, children listened to the fragments of front letters – messages from the past, which helped young listeners to imagine what our compatriots felt in those distant harsh days. Even in the most desperate situations, the soldiers found the strength to write touching letters to their loved ones, and years after the war, some lines still penetrate the heart. We can say that front letters are invaluable documents, testimonies about the Great Patriotic War, about fortitude and courage, the fervent devotion of our soldiers to their Motherland.
At the end of the event, schoolchildren drew pictures and wrote letters with words of support for the soldiers who perform service and combat tasks in the zone of the special military operation. After all, it has long been known how important support is for a man who is far from home and carries out his difficult service. Kids traditionally folded the letters into triangles, as it was once done in the distant and formidable years of the Great Patriotic War.
