On 16 February 2024, an employee of the department “Museum Street” of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. for 12 children of Bolgar kindergarten “Teremok” held an interactive museum lesson “Musa Jalil is our hero”. The aim of the lesson was to introduce kids to the Tatar writer Musa Jalil and his work, to foster love for the Motherland, to develop a sense of patriotism.
At the museum lesson, kids learnt about the childhood years of the future hero-writer, listened to the works “Brave Hare” and “Red Daisy”. During the slide show, children saw how the “Moabit Notebook” looks like and learnt why it is called so. They were informed that Musa Jalil used scraps of paper in fascist imprisonment to create his works. Realizing that he would die, he tried to leave a memory of himself in his art. Children also virtually visited the Kazan museum-apartment of M. Jalil and saw the monuments dedicated to the writer.
