On February 16, 2024, for veterans (pensioners) of Spassky district the Charitable Foundation “Social Wellbeing of Spassky district” together with the Bolgar Museum-Reserve organized a trip with an excursion to the museum “Suvar”. The event was organized within the framework of the project “Creation of a hobby club for veterans (pensioners) of Spassky district – Live, dream, create” with the use of a grant competition for providing grants to non-profit organizations implementing socially significant projects in the municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2023.
N. M. Sadrieva, head of the museum “Suvar”, welcomed the guests with a warm greeting and a traditional Tatar treat chak-chak. She conducted an interactive and informative excursion for the participants of the event, during which she acquainted them with the history of Volga Bulgaria and the town of Suvar. The veterans took an active part in the quiz and played board games. Each participant received a certificate “Connoisseur of the history of Suvar” and a memorable sweet gift. The event ended in a friendly, cordial atmosphere over a cup of tea.
The pensioners got a lot of positive emotions and a sea of positivity from the trip.
