Frosty, cheerful and delicious New Year holidays started in Great Bolgar! Father Frost and Snow Maiden met our guests with merry songs, dances and games. Both adults and children read New Year’s poems, sang New Year’s songs and danced round the Christmas tree. After the games and fun, the samovar was ready! Hospitable “hostesses” served pancakes from the oven and hot fragrant tea on herbs. At the interactive area in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, the masters-artists taught the guests how to make a doll-amulet and souvenirs from clay and vine. With the help of our artisans, everyone could make a unique souvenir for themselves and their loved ones, as well as play medieval games.
On this day, the Bolgar Museum-Reserve welcomed guests from different cities of Russia: Moscow, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Kazan and others. Children and adults were able to plunge into the world of New Year’s fairy tale, into the festive atmosphere of magic and give themselves a wonderful mood.
All New Year holidays the Bolgar Museum-Reserve is open for visitors from 8:00 to 17:00. We invite everyone to a New Year’s journey to the Great Bolgar! The real miracles happen here, and the wishes made at the Christmas tree are sure to come true.
