On 8 December 2023, an employee of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Bitunova Yu. A. held a lecture “The great and eternal feat” for nine pupils of Bolgar secondary school No. 1. The purpose of the lecture was to bring up children’s patriotic feelings towards their Motherland, to promote the expansion of ideas about the feat of our people during the Great Patriotic War.
In 1941-1945, the Soviet people united in the face of the threat of enslavement and destruction. The heroism and courage of the Red Army soldiers and commanders and the unparalleled labor feat of all workers on the home front became the sources of victory. During the war years, more than 225 natives of the republic received the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Five our compatriots are among them.
The children listened attentively to the information about our fellow countrymen-heroes of the Great Patriotic War and their heroic deeds, looked at photos of heroes-natives of our district.
