On 2 December 2023, the days of Tatarstan started at the international exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh in Moscow, with more than 50 events planned. Tatarstan is represented at the exhibition in several expositions – all of them demonstrate the region’s significant achievements in industry, agriculture, economy, medicine, culture and tourism.
The concert program “Through Time” will reflect the history, traditions and culture of Tatarstan. National ethno-folk bands from all over Tatarstan and the musical group “Dabro” from Kazan will perform for the guests. A bright event will be a youth music program in the style of ethno-folk fusion.
Guests of the exhibition will be able to taste Tatar cuisine, take part in master-classes on its preparation and familiarize themselves with national rituals.
The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most developed regions of Russia. Tatarstan has the largest number of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Russia. The Minister of Culture of RT Irada Ayupova said this while showing the stands presenting the republic’s achievements. She told about four UNESCO sites, which are located on the territory of our republic – Museum-reserve “Kazan Kremlin”, Museum-reserve “The Island of Sviyazhsk”, Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve, Astronomical Observatories of Kazan Federal University, and invited everyone to visit our hospitable republic.
R.R. Ziganshin, Director of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve, made a presentation on “Great Bolgar” at the international exhibition-forum “Russia”. Our colleagues G.R. Prokofieva and G.M. Musina familiarized the guests of the exhibition with the culture and traditions, as well as the tourism potential of Tatarstan.
