On September 5, 2023, a researcher of Bolgar Museum-Reserve V.A. Mukhamedov for 15 students of Bolgar secondary school № 2 held an event on “The last battle” timed to the day of the end of the Second World War.
September 3 is a very significant day of the calendar. It was on this day that the Second World War, which claimed the lives of tens of millions of people, finally ended. For our country, this date is extremely important. The world massacre affected our country more than any other countries. With the defeat of Japan, humanity finally came to peace. The visitors of the museum-reserve were told about the events that put an end to the most destructive war in history.
During the event, the guests became acquainted with the prehistory of the beginning of World War II, the course of hostilities, the history of the Soviet Union’s participation in it, and learned about the influence of our Motherland on the early completion of the war against the last aggressor country – the Japanese Empire.
