On June 8, 2023, an employee of the department of excursions of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N. R. for children of the summer school camp of Bolgar secondary school № 2 held an event-propaganda “Say no to drugs!” dedicated to the International Day against the abuse of narcotic drugs and their illicit trafficking.
Drug addiction without exaggeration can be called the most terrible phenomenon of our century. More and more people, and the worst – more and more children get into its insidious nets every day. People around the world who care about their health unite in the fight against drug addiction. That is why the World Day against Drug Abuse was established, reminding the whole humanity about this terrible disease.
During the event, students learned about the perniciousness of drug addiction, how it affects every organ of a person, the body and the personality as a whole. Children saw pictures of the mutilated organs of people who have been subjected to drug attack. Kids answered the questions and made logical conclusions that it is necessary to live without drugs; that their use leads to the destruction of the body and human death. In conclusion, children made their own poster “We are against drugs”.
