On May 16, 2023, the opening of the exhibition “Pioneer – an example for all children” will take place at the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization. The exhibition is devoted to the 101st anniversary of the All-Union Pioneer Organization named after V. I. Lenin. Officially, the pioneer organization was founded by the decision of the 2nd All-Russian Conference of the Komsomol on May 19, 1922. That date is considered the birthday of pioneering.
The exhibition will feature authentic exhibits from the collection of the museum including rarity badges, pioneer ties, photos and documents. They reflect not only the history of the beginning of pioneering – they show that the history of the pioneer organization can rightfully be called one of the pages of the history of our country.
