On May 9, 2023, on the exhibition platform of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization opened the exhibition “In the footsteps of courage and fortitude” dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War.
Every year on May 9, Russia celebrates a national holiday – Victory Day to mark the victorious end of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The exhibition features a soldier’s uniform, a soldier’s kettle, flask and other wartime items, photographs, photographic material and information about the participants of the Great Patriotic War. The era of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 is in the distant past. Fewer and fewer living witnesses remain around us. The exhibition aims to convince the young generation once again of the need to know the history of their country and to keep forever in their hearts gratitude to the people who won peace and quiet on earth.
