Applications were accepted from February 1 until March 15, 2023. 677 applications from 41 districts of the republic were submitted. “The grant contest for individuals is a direct measure of support for our youth. Any young person can get funds to implement his project. This year we will support 45 projects for a total amount of 7 million rubles”, – said Minister of Youth Affairs of RT Rinat Sadykov.
Among the winners of the competition was T. V. Lifantieva, a research officer of Bolgar Museum-Reserve, in the category “Youth initiatives to support tourism” with the project “Festival of sports and historical tourism “Batyry of Great Bolgar”.
This project will be timed to the International Day of Tourism and aimed at popularization of the history of ancient Bolgar, involvement of young generation to preservation of cultural and historical heritage of Tatarstan, revival and preservation of folk sport-historical games and development of ethno-cultural tourism.
