On April 30, 2023, the first in the season motor ship “Borodino” of Moscow Shipping Company “White Swan” arrived at the tourist berth of Bolgar Museum-Reserve. On shore, the tourists were warmly welcomed in the best traditions of Great Bolgar: guests were greeted by Bolgar Khan and enjoyed the musical performances. An excursion program was organized for 114 tourists who arrived by ship. The guests visited the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, the Museum of Koran and the Bolgar settlement. That day travelers from St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Yaroslavl and other cities, accompanied by their guides, acquainted themselves with the most interesting history of Volga-Kama Bulgaria, heard fascinating legends and historical facts.
We hope that the tourist season of 2023 will be successful for us, and our visitors will learn many interesting, unusual things and get a lot of positive emotions from visiting the museum-reserve.
