On April 18, 2023, XII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Historical and cultural heritage as potential of development of tourist and recreational sphere” opened in the Museum-Reserve “Kazan Kremlin”.
The conference dedicated to the International Day of Monuments and Historical Places was focused on issues of preservation, popularization and presentation of historical and cultural heritage.
This year, the event was attended by over 100 participants from 16 regions of Russia and Belarus. Employees of 23 museums and museum-reserves as well as reserves and national parks were involved in the work of the sections.
The conference was opened with welcoming speeches of assistant to the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan O. Baltusova, director of the Museum-reserve “Kazan Kremlin” I. Rakhimov and deputy director for scientific activities of the Institute of International Relations of Kazan Federal University, vice-president of the Russian Committee of the International Council for Monuments and Sites Protection R. Valeyev.
Employees of Bolgar Museum-Reserve G. Prokofieva, N. Akhundov and G. Musina took part in the sections of the conference, making reports.
As a result of the event, the reviewed collection of reports will be prepared with their inclusion in the system of the Russian Science Citation Index.
