On April 11, 2023, two regular classes for 11 students of the1st grade of Bolgar sanatorium-type residential school were held in Bolgar Museum-Reserve in the creative studio “Territory of possibilities” under the project “Bolgar for Everyone”, which is implemented with funds from the charitable foundation “Tatneft”.
On that day, the classes were held at the weaving workshop site. Schoolchildren were divided into two subgroups. The craftswoman told about weaving, how and on what people used to weave cloth. Children of the first group learned to work on looms and tried to weave small mats.
Students of the second group made with their own hands Slavic dolls from pieces of fabric. Children with great interest created their dolls and were happy with their work.
At the lessons in the creative studio, children learn different directions of arts and crafts, but most importantly, they learn how to communicate with friends and help each other.
