On April 12, 2023, an employee of the department of excursions of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Usmanova D. O. for eight students of Bolgar children’s art school held an event on “Call the memory with you” dedicated to Victory Day.
On May 9, Russia celebrates the national holiday – the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in which the Soviet people fought for the freedom and independence of their country against the Nazi Germany and its allies. It was May 9 when the most difficult and bloody war was over. The Soviet people suffered tremendous losses in that war. Every family has heroes who gave their lives for a peaceful sky, and they will always remain in our memory.
During the event, children watched a film about the war, read poems about the Great Patriotic War, wrote letters of support and wishes of victory to our soldiers who are in the zone of special military operation.
