On April 7, 2023, the exhibition “History of one object. While the ancient clock ticks” will open at 14:00 in the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization.
The history of the device, which counts the time and is known as a clock, goes back many centuries. It is the oldest invention of humankind, which has gone the way of hundreds of generations. The history of clocks is a peculiar history of science and technology development that passed a long way and can take more than one page of a whole book.
The exhibition will present malachite fireplace clocks, the end of XIX century.
