On March 21, 2023, an employee of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. together with teachers of a kindergarten “Antoshka” held for children an interactive event on “Nowruz Mubarakbad!”
Nowruz is a holiday of spring, the renewal of nature, the beginning of a new year and new life. It is a holiday of nature worship. Nowruz is celebrated on March 21, on the day of the vernal equinox.
There are many traditions and customs associated with Nowruz. On the eve of the holiday, people cleaned the house, paid off debts, put up being in a quarrel. With the arrival of Nowruz, good luck and prosperity come, failures and illnesses leave. That is why on this day, everyone tried to be in a good mood, saying the kindest wishes, and on the festive square, they sang, danced, played various games and held contests.
Children prepared musical and dance numbers. With pleasure, they played outdoor games. “Nowruzbike” told kids about Nowruz. At the end of the event, children received gifts from Bolgar Museum-Reserve.
