On March 6, 2023, an exhibition “Spring mood” dedicated to the International Women’s Day on 8 March opened in the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization. International Women’s Day is an important and beloved holiday. Its history dates back to XX century. The initiator of this procession was the social-democratic women’s organization. The reason for the rally was the desire of women to get equal rights with men, as well as to have the opportunity to participate in elections.
The exhibition includes antique ladies’ jewelry, clothing and accessories for women of different times from the collection of Bolgar Museum-Reserve and photocopies of women’s images.
According to modern traditions, on March 8, all women, regardless of age, nationality and other differences are congratulated.
