On March 6, 2023, an employee of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. in the museum “Town on the River” for 11 students of Bolgar secondary school № 2 held an interactive event on “The dearest person” dedicated to the International Women’s Day on March 8. The purpose of the event was to educate children’s love and respect for their mothers, grandmothers, sisters and generally for all women.
Students learned the history of this spring holiday, a parable of Mom, how the word “mom” sounds in different Eastern languages, played the game “Compliment”. Children told about their mothers and made rules of a caring and loving son (daughter).
In the workshop “Skillful hands”, kids made a card “Bouquet for Mom” in origami and drew the flowers with finger paints.
