On February 22, 2023, a staff member of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Diana Usmanova held an event on “Native language” dedicated to the Day of Native Languages for 10 students of Bolgar Children’s Art School.
February 21 is the International Mother Tongue Day founded in 1999. During the event, children watched a presentation, guessed riddles, recalled proverbs and sayings, recited poems. The lesson ended with the composition of the “sun of good words”. The event was held with the aim of fostering respect and interest in the native language.
