On February 16, 2023, employees of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N.R. and Glavnova V.N. held an interactive event on “Ancient Bolgar is a wonderful city” for children of the kindergarten “Rodnichok”.
During the event, taken into account the fact that before school, games are considered a leading activity for kids. Children tend to satisfy their great need for movement in games. Bright presentation helped kids to take a virtual tour of Bolgar Museum-Reserve, introduced them to our museums and monuments telling the history of their native land. Children became acquainted with copies of ancient Bolgar products: pots, inkpots, a spheroconus, whistles, checkers, jewelry, a metal fire striker. Kids enjoyed playing the game “Recognize the monument by silhouette”, made models of monuments from wooden parts and collected jigsaw puzzles. Great interest was aroused by the old checkerboard game “The Wolf and the Sheep”. In conclusion, children took an active part in the moving folk games where they earned points “nuts”, which later served as a consolation prize.
The event helped children to dive into the past, expand their horizons and, of course, left a lot of good impressions.
