February 2, 2023 marks 80 years since the end of the Battle of Stalingrad, which became a turning point in the Great Patriotic War and demonstrated to the world the indomitable strength of spirit, courage and heroism of the Soviet troops.
In the rural House of Culture of Kuznechiha, a historical hour “Stalingrad: 200 days of courage and fortitude” was held. N. M. Sadrieva, the head of the museum “Suvar”, told about the history of the battle and the villagers – participants of the battle. A librarian V. Chichkova held a review of fiction “The hot snow of Stalingrad”, talked about writers – participants of the battle and works on this topic. A virtual tour of the memorial complex “Mamaev Kurgan” and the monuments of military glory of Volgograd was organized by employees of the House of Culture.
