On January 26, 2023, a researcher of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Vagapov R.Z. conducted a museum-educational lesson “The role of excursions in the preservation of history” for 16 students of Spassky College of industrial technologies.
Excursion is an organized, accompanied by explanations showing something (works of art, monuments of the past, any structures, mechanisms, etc.), which is held according to a certain plan with an educational or introductory purpose. Each excursion has its own definite topic and purpose.
In the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, participants in an interactive form became acquainted with the features of excursion work, the main functions and types of excursions. They learned what role excursions play in the preservation of history. In the course of the lesson, students learned the history and rules of a board game “Alquerque”, which was popular in the medieval city of Bolgar.
