On 22 October 2022, a staff member of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Ahundov N.O. held an event on “Earth is our common home” for the students of the 10th grade. The purpose of the event is ecological education and enlightenment of schoolchildren.
Education in the field of environmental protection is officially recognized today as one of the priority directions of improving the activities of educational systems. It is becoming a factor in the development of the economy and society as a whole, the basis for the formation of a new way of life characterized by harmony of the younger generation with the environment.
The process of education of ecological culture can be successful, if it is carried out continuously, starting from preschool age. At the same time, a continuous condition is a combination of theoretical training with active practical activity in the field of environmental protection. Many agencies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, teams of educators and scientists are involved in the work of forming environmental awareness and thinking, and fostering a responsible attitude toward the environment and health.
Moral basis of active life position is the principle of unity between word and deed when understanding of the need for practical actions is combined with the real implementation of them in practice. A sustainable responsible attitude both to the environment and to health is formed only in the practical activities of ecological character.
