On 17-23 August 2022, the shooting of the travel-program “Wonderland” of the federal television channel «TV Center» was conducted in the Republic of Tatarstan.
“Wonderland” is a video guide that shows cultural and historical monuments, sights, unusual traditions and natural beauty of cities, oblasts, districts and regions of the Russian Federation.
On 19 August 2022, the filming took place in Bolgar Historical-Architectural Museum-Reserve. The film crew attended a master class “Bal-mai” in the museum “Bolgar tea party”, conducted the shooting in the Memorial Sign in honor of adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgars in 922 where there is the world’s biggest printed Koran and saw architectural monuments of XIII-XIV centuries. Great interest among the guests caused the visit to the museum “Healer’s house”. The host of the program Irina Bazhenova invited viewers to Bolgar Museum-Reserve from the territory of Small Minaret with her keyword phrase “Don’t expect miracles, go to them yourselves!!!”
