On 8 July 2022, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Mukhamedov V. A. held an event on “My family” devoted to the Day of love, family and loyalty.
The Day of love, family and loyalty is one of young holidays of modern Russia. It settled in society very quickly because of its important and urgent subject. The holiday is based on a love story of Peter and Fevronia Muromsky – venerated orthodox saints. Their story should inspire lovers to overcome barriers their fate can give them.
During the event, visitors learned about the holiday and the history of its emergence. They also listened with great interest to a lecture about the importance of traditional family values.
