On 1 June 2022, an exhibition “The toy of my childhood” will open in the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization. It is devoted to International Children’s Day.
International Children’s Day is celebrated annually in more than 30 countries of the world. A toy is always, in varying degrees, a reflection of the epoch. At the exhibition, it is possible to see with what the soviet children played. Presented toys were made during the Soviet era. The most popular toys at all times are dolls, of course. Visitors can see a lot of plush and plastic animals, toy dishes. During the master class, the participants will create with their hands a flag of the holiday – a green canvas where there will be five colorful schematic men (red, blue, black, white and yellow) around the symbol signifying our planet. Five men symbolize the unity and diversity of individuals living on Earth.
The exhibition will last until July 5, 2022.
